Q. What
happens if I miss a driving lesson
A Unfortunately, if you happen to miss a driving
lesson, you have to forfeit the driving lesson or hours. Your
instructor has booked their time with you for your crash course
in driving and cannot rearrange their
diary.
Q. What should
I bring with me
A.
You must bring a valid signed license. If you have the old style
paper driving license, you must bring photographic I.D., like a current
passport. You need both parts of the new type of license. The
green paper, also known as the counterpart paper and the plastic
card part, with your photo on it. You cannot take any tests
without these two. Also a theory test certificate, if you have already
passed the theory test. we will need to see this, so we can book
Practical driving test for you.
Q. How can I
choose which driving course to go on
A. With our expertise and experience, we at Supreme
will advise you which intensive driving course is best suited to you. This depends
on your driving lesson experience. But the driving course you choose is entirely
up to you. You can of course add extra hours onto the driving lessons,
if you or the instructor feels it would increase your chance of
passing the practical driving test.
Q. How long
does the practical test last
A.
For the Driving Test, the official time is 40 minutes. This includes the TELL ME/SHOW
ME questions part of the test. Your instructor will go through
these questions with you. Also it depends on the traffic
conditions, on the day.
Q. Am I
guaranteed a pass
A. No. Unfortunately no-one can guarantee you a
pass. But what we at Supreme will guarantee, is to teach you to a
high standard, so you are ready and well prepared to take your
practical driving test exam.
Q. What
happens if I am not ready for the practical driving test at the end of the course
A.
If this unfortunately happens, your instructor will inform you
of this situation and will advise you to hold back in taking you
practical driving test. You will be advised to take more driving
lesson tuition, to bring
yourself up to practical driving test standard. Every pupil is different and
learns at their own natural pace.
Q. Is the
Hotel Accommodation in the price
A.
No, sorry. Because each Hotel prices differs. We can book the
room for you, but we leave paying for the accommodation up to
you before you leave and when you finish your crash driving
course.

the theory test
A.
The theory test is in two parts. There is a multiply choice part, where
you have to answer 43 or more questions correctly out of 50.The
second part of theory test exam is a Hazard Perception section. You will be
shown 14 short film clips and you have to react to any hazards
that occur, eg A pedestrian walking off the pavement into your
path of the car.
Q. Do I need
to pass both parts of theory test.
A.
Yes. Both parts needs to be passed at the same time. If you fail
one part or both of the theory test, you will need to retake both parts again.
Q. What do I
receive when I pass theory exam
A. You will receive a certificate at the end of the
theory test exam when you pass. Show this to your instructor, who will then
pass the certificate number to us, at Supreme Crash courses. We can then
book your Practical test with this information and your
intensive driving course.
Q. What
happens if I fail the theory test
A.
Unfortunately, we cannot book a practical driving test without the
theory test being passed. We will off course, rebook another
theory test ASAP for you, for an extra Theory test fee.
Q. How long
does the certificate last
A.
You have 2 years to then pass your practical driving test once you have
passed the theory test. If the
certificate expires, you have to retake the exam again.
Q. Where
will my theory test take place
A. We at Supreme Crash Courses make all attempts to book your
theory test locally to you, either near your home or around the
nearest available Theory Test Centre. But sometimes because of late
bookings, we might have to ask you to travel a little further to
a theory test centre. But we will try to minimize the travel time and
distance, as much as possible for you.
Q. Should I
still study at home
A
Yes, ABSOLUTELY. There is NO substitute for home study. It will
help you alot. The more studying you do, the better prepared for
the theory test exam you will be. We can advise you on what reading
material and DVDs to purchase. This will also help you on
your driving course as well.
