THEORY HAVE YOU PASSED YOUR THEORY TEST YET..??? YES... Great...We can book you a Practical Driving Test at the time of your booking. The Practical Driving Test will be taken at the end of the last day of the intensive driving course. NO... Don't Worry...We offer 2 choices, if you have not passed or taken it yet : 1. We can book the Theory Test and arrange it to be taken before your crash course commences. All effects will be made by us to book a Theory Test in your local area. 2. We can book the Theory Test whilst you are on the intensive driving course. When this is passed, the Practical Driving Test is then booked. Every pupil must have already passed the D.S.A. Theory Test, before we are able to apply for their practical driving test. You are welcome to contact us and we will offer advise on our Quick Pass Driving Courses
The aim of the Theory Test is to make sure pupils understand the rules and safety points of driving. The Hazard Perception Test is designed to improve pupils awareness. For them to think ahead of potential dangerous situations and to react to the quickly, rather then to late.. The test is in 2 parts. Both parts have to be passed before a PASS can be achieved. 1. There is a multiple choice part, where you have to answer 43 or more questions correctly out of 50, covering a wide range of topics. Pupils will be allowed 54 minutes to completed this section. 2. There is a Hazard Perception section. You will be shown 14 short film clips and you have to react to any hazards that occur, e.g A pedestrian walking off the pavement into your path of the car. Pupils have 20 minutes to complete this section. All our Instructors will always offer advice and help to the pupil, so they are well prepared for their theory test. Please make sure to arrive at the Theory Test centre NO later then 15 minutes before the test time, eg THEORY TEST TIME at 10.15am - Arrive NO later then 10.00am..... We, highly recommend that pupils study at home, in their free time.. The test fee is £31.00 inc VAT and this can be incorporated into the price of the intensive driving course.
Advice on which reading materials and DVD's to be obtained, is readily available from us. Please do not hesitate in asking for this information, and other information in regards of our quick pass courses and the Theory Test..
